Growing Tomatoes
April to June is the ideal time to plant out small tomato plants in containers or beds. In our greenhouse this month, we have a variety of tomato plants to choose from, perfect for eating fresh in salads, roasting or making sauces.
Whichever variety you choose, plant in Tomorite Peat Free Organic Deep Planter Compost for healthy growth.
We recommend feeding your tomatoes once or twice a week with Tomorite Concentrated Tomato Feed found in our Garden Sundries department for added nutrients and high-quality yields.
If planted now, your tomatoes will be ready to enjoy straight off the vine as early as July, all the way through to September!
