Make a Herb Planter
You don’t need lots of space to grow a plentiful crop of fresh herbs. An easy way to get started is by building a herb planter which you can fill with lots of different varieties. Herbs are so easy to grow and are a wonderful way to add extra taste and flavour to your cooking. They also add a beautiful scent to your garden or patio.

Your step by step guide
- Choose a suitable container.
- Fill with multi-purpose peat free compost.
- Plant with your selection of herbs.
- Cover exposed compost with a thin layer of pea gravel.
- Water in well after planting.
- Harvest a few sprigs of herbs regularly to encourage new growth.
