National Garden Wildlife Week
Celebrate National Garden Wildlife Week this month by helping to nurture
the diverse wildlife that lives in our gardens.
Starting on May 26th, this week-long event encourages people of all ages to connect
with nature and spend more time outdoors.
National Garden Wildlife Week is aimed at raising awareness of the need to create spaces that wildlife can thrive in. There are so many ways you can help the wild and wonderful creatures that inhabit our gardens. Simple steps include planting native trees and wildflowers, installing a pond or building a bird nest box, bee hotel or bat box.

One of the central themes of this year’s event is biodiversity. We have lost more than 90% of natural wild meadows in the UK, resulting in a significant decline in wildlife. By choosing a diverse range of plants that flower over many months we can do our bit to help nature.
Our Pet & Wildlife Care department offers a huge range of products to help you create a haven for garden creatures. Discover insect hotels, butterfly houses, ladybird towers, bee habitats and more. Protect hedgehogs with hedgehog houses, drinking bowls and hedgehog gates.

Our wild bird care display is filled with products designed to attract more feathered friends into your garden including bird feeders and tables, food and treats and bird baths.
