Refund and Exchange Policy
Although we are committed to selling high-quality products, and we hope you will enjoy them, there may be times you wish to have a product refunded or exchanged. Please ensure you check your items carefully before leaving the centre, as some discrepancies cannot be rectified after you go. We also recommend you keep your receipt, as you will need proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries. Barton Grange reserves the right to ask for proof of purchase to consider a request for a refund or replacement product. If your product is faulty, we will issue a full refund upon proof of purchase with a valid receipt and the return of the product in question.
Refunds and exchanges are available (excluding food), providing the goods are returned in their original condition, undamaged with the original labels on and in a saleable condition within 28 days of proof of purchase date. If no receipt is presented, gift vouchers may be given at the manager’s discretion. All items purchased within Sale must be returned within 14 days of the date on the proof of purchase. We are unable to accept any returns or exchanges without proof of purchase. Where a refund value is £1000 or over, a name and address will be required to process the refund.
Faulty Products
If you have had the item for less than 28 days and can provide proof of purchase, we will give a full refund using the original payment method.
We will endeavour to repair the product after 28 days and up to one year. If this is not possible, we will offer you a replacement.
All furniture and BBQs are excluded from our 28-day guarantee; however, the above point still applies if a fault develops.
If the faulty product cannot be repaired, we will arrange a replacement within one year.
We will always endeavour to display the products and other images on our site as accurately as possible. However, differences in monitors and the device you use to view the website will result in subtle differences in colour and textures.
Colours, therefore, are not guaranteed. If you wish to see a ‘True Match’, please visit our store showroom and speak to one of the furniture team who will gladly assist you.
Price Promise
At Barton Grange we want you to feel happy you are paying the best price in your local area! We pride ourselves on offering you quality products at fair prices.
Our price promise scheme applies to any ‘price match’ and ‘refund the difference’ promotions.
• The products must be equal: must be in stock, have the exact product specification, be the same brand and be sold with the same service conditions.
• We will not match competitors in administration or closing down, coupon and auction websites, e-commerce websites, factory outlets, market stalls, or end-of-season clearance, promotions or sales prices.
• Where prices are matched under the price promise scheme, money-back vouchers will not apply.
• Our price promise does not apply to any sale, discounted products, or sold under special offers or promotions.
• In rare cases where we agree on an internet price match, this applies only when the identical product is readily available, and postage/delivery charges are considered.
• Product specifications must be confirmed before any refunds are issued.
• Proof of price must be demonstrated.
• Our price promise policy will only be valid for up to and including 14 days after the purchase.
5 Year Plant Guarantee
Barton Grange Garden Centre is committed to guaranteeing customers the best quality plants. We are so sure of the high quality of our plants that we offer a five year guarantee on all hardy nursery stock from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not include plants bought in our reduced-to-clear or Sale sections.
If, after proper care of the plants is carried out (including but not limited to providing water, fertiliser and insect and disease control), any of these plants fail to establish within five years of purchase, the plants will be replaced at the same size and quantity as at original purchase, or we will issue a full refund. This depends upon proof of purchase with a valid receipt and the return of the plant/s in question. Please note that extreme climate conditions may invalidate this guarantee. This five year guarantee does not affect or alter your statutory rights in any way.
