Plant of the Week!
Our plant of the week is...
Hydrangea
This week we’re celebrating the ever-beautiful hydrangea. Brimming with life and colour, this easy-to -grow shrub delivers a continuous display of large showy blooms from early summer through to autumn. Most varieties prefer morning sun and afternoon shade, so plant in a cool, semi-shaded spot. As the name “hydra” suggests, they are thirsty plants and will need regular watering to thrive. Interestingly, you can change the colour of the petals depending on the soil (acidic soils result in blue flowers, alkaline soils produce pink) which gives them an element of surprise!
