Plant of the Week!
Our plant of the week is...
If you’re looking for an evergreen shrub to brighten up your garden during the winter months, Viburnum tinus is the plant for you. Compact and bushy, it produces masses of pinky white flowers at this time of year which contrast beautifully with its glossy green oval leaves. Later in autumn, metallic blue fruits emerge which are enjoyed by our feathered friends. Grow in moist but well drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Viburnum tinus is a popular choice for hedging but can also be grown as a specimen shrub in a mixed border.
