Barton Grange Garden Centre shares the concerns of gardeners and the gardening industry about the effects of global peat extraction on wildlife habitats and the wider environment. Consequently, we fully endorse the research and work being done to find viable alternatives.
Barton Grange makes a conscious effort to carefully source all foreign imported plants from Xylella fastidiosa disease-free areas. We have signed and pledged our agreement to not knowingly purchase any host plants originating from regions where the disease Xylella is known to exist. Our suppliers are thoroughly vetted to ensure compliance with these standards.
