We are donating £2 from the sale of our special Christmas bell baubles to local charities. The festive hanging decorations are each tagged with the name of a different Lancashire charity so customers can choose the cause closest to their hearts. This year’s charities are Skiggle, Baby Beat, Lancashire Mind, Rosemere Cancer Foundation and Lancashire Wildlife Trust. We have created a special display in store with leaflets on each charity to raise awareness about the vital work they all do across the county.
Skiggle is a small, specialist charity based in Preston that provides family support and emergency care to those with disabilities or dementia.
Baby Beat funds specialist equipment, patient services and comforts, clinical care, local research and training so that maternity and gynaecology teams can offer the best possible outcomes for babies and mums in the Central Lancashire and Chorley area.
Rosemere Cancer Foundation works in partnership with local clinical staff to achieve the best possible care for cancer patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria wherever they are treated.
Lancashire Mind is an independent charity committed to making a difference to the mental health of people living and working in Lancashire.
Lancashire Wildlife Trust is the local arm of the Wildlife Trusts movement, the UK’s leading conservation charity dedicated to all wildlife.
