Print your own tote bag or cushion – an introduction to Indian Block Printing using traditional hand-carved wooden blocks.
In this relaxed and fun workshop you will learn how to apply paint, and build simple repeating patterns to create your own tote bag or cushion.

In the workshop you will have a practice on a piece of cotton fabric, getting the hang of the colours, composition and block printing technique.
You will then move on to print the finished piece, could be a tote bag or cushion cover – and will leave with a finished item you’ve created by hand.  All materials provided.  Suitable for all artistic abilities, with tea, coffee and refreshments along the way.
