
Yes, slow cookers are traditionally used for home-cooked meals, but have you ever tried slow cooker hot chocolate? While the weather is still cool, we couldn’t think of anything better than sipping this creamy, marshmallow-topped deliciousness! Serves 8 – 10. Ingredients
1 litre milk
300ml double cream
200g dark chocolate, chopped
100g milk chocolate, chopped
Marshmallows, to serve
Softly whipped cream, to serve
Method
Pour the milk and double cream into the slow cooker. Add the chopped dark and milk chocolate.
Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring halfway through cooking.
After 2 hours, remove the lid and stir again. Then continue to cook for 15 – 20 minutes.
Ladle into mugs and top with a dollop of cream and marshmallows.
Top Tip
Add your favourite liqueur or spirit to your mug.
