School Gardening Workshops

Here at Barton Grange, we try to encourage children to take an interest in plants and gardening, through our Badger Brock Gardening Workshops.

Badger Brock Gardening Workshops

The workshops begin at 10am at the main reception of Barton Grange, where you will be met and shown through to the Green Room, where the workshops take place. By 12noon the workshop will be complete and each child will be awarded with a certificate.

The price for the workshop is £1 per child; this includes all three activities with our workshop leaders, juice and biscuits. A minimum of one teacher per activity is required at all times.

The maximum number of children per workshop is thirty and the children will need to be split up into three groups prior to arrival. The workshops contain three elements and the children will rotate every twenty minutes on to a different activity.

After the first two sessions, the children and team will go into the Riverside Cafe for biscuits and juice. Refreshments for children are included in the workshop fee. Accompanying teachers and parents will need to purchase their own refreshments.
