The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 require the reporting of the difference between average earnings of male and female employees. In the first year of reporting requirements the Barton Grange Group Gender Pay Gap report is as follows:
Women’s hourly rate is 16.3% lower (mean) and 5.32% lower (median) than man’s hourly rate.
The distribution of male and female employees at each pay quartile shows;
- Upper quartile 63% male and 37% female
- Upper middle quartile 38% male and 62% female
- Lower middle quartile 28% male and 72% female
- Lower quartile 29% male and 71% female
No bonus payments were awarded in the year ending 5th April 2018.
