Many of our suppliers are based within 20 miles of our Farm Shop. Like us, they are family-run businesses built on pride, passion and expertise.

Ann has always firmly believed using the freshest milk is the key to producing the best quality yoghurt. Alston Dairy only use milk from their own herd of cows that graze in the fields just outside their award-winning Lancashire farm.

Since 1837, Atkinsons have been sourcing, roasting and brewing some of the best coffee and tea from around the world. The Lancaster-based team are passionate about creating the finest blends and they continue to be innovators in their field.

Enjoy a taste of Barton Grange at home with our delicious range of frozen dishes made by our chefs using the best local and seasonal ingredients. Choose from ready meals, pizzas, vegetarian and vegan options, soups, pies and pastries and sweet treats.

Named after Stormy Bay in Morecambe, this local distillery was set up by two friends who share a passion for all things gin. From small beginnings, the duo now produce five premium quality handcrafted gins.

With more than 100 years of chocolate-making experience, Beech’s use special recipes that have been handed down through generations. The much-loved, family-owned company is still based at its original factory in the heart of Preston.

Located just down the road from us in Bilsborrow, this much-loved family bakery produces traditional handmade bread and cakes. A real local favourite in these parts, their loaves are delivered to us freshly baked each day.

 

No artificial colours, preservatives or flavours can be found in Black Powder Gin’s award-winning spirits. Instead, they use ingredients grown in their own orchards or sourced from the best producers so you can taste the distinct flavours.

The award-winning Bowland Brewery produces an acclaimed range of cask ales and bottled beers. Based in the heart of the scenic Ribble Valley, their award-winning beers include Hen Harrier, Boxer Blonde and Pheasant Plucker.

The amazing success of Breda’s restaurant in Whalley led her to launch this range of home-cooked ready meals. Choose from a range of British and Irish dishes all lovingly made by Breda and her team in the Ribble Valley.

The award-winning Cuckoo Gin is made in a former cowshed turned distillery on the family farm. They only use spring water from their field and natural ingredients and botanicals to make their gin.

Inspired by his Nigerian roots, Raphael has created a beautifully crafted range of natural drinks using herbs, flowers and spices. Ideal as a healthy mixer or alcohol alternative, this innovative range of craft-brewed soft drinks includes Grape & Hibiscus.

Famed for their award-winning cheeses, Carron Lodge also produces delicious butters made the old-fashioned way. The Rhodes family has been farming in Lancashire for more than 30 years and has always put an emphasis on quality.

This innovative Lancashire brand is hot stuff after scooping a string of top awards and glowing reviews from famous chefs including Ken Hom. These marinades transform any meal into something special.

Known as the ‘milkshake masters’, Derby Hill Farms has been in the Bradley family for five generations. The milk they use in their freshly flavoured pints comes from their own herd and they always source everything locally.

Eat Indian

A family-run business based in Lancaster, Eat Indian was started in the 1960’s by a chef who was trained in Mumbai. Their traditional recipes have been handed down by generations to create authentic Indian food.

A love of old family recipes, traditional baking techniques and the best quality ingredients led to the creation of Farmhouse Biscuits back in 1962. The family still shares the same passion for making the best biscuits and the range now includes sugar and gluten-free options.

 

The Fiddler family produce their Lancashire Crisps in Ormskirk using potatoes grown on their farm and hand cooked in their kitchens. They then add flavours including Lancashire Cheese, Ellsey’s Malt Vinegar and Lancashire sauce.

Passionate about cheesecakes, Lancashire-based Matt Watts uses locally sourced ingredients to create his delicious puds. Each cheesecake is made and decorated by hand to look and taste exquisite.

The Gornall Family in Goosnargh began selling milk from a large jug on the back of a horse-drawn cart in the early 1900s. Things have changed quite a bit since those days but the business is still run by the same family and they’re still just as passionate about their milk.

Based in Bacup, Heritage Preserves is a much-loved family run business that takes pride in using local, seasonal produce and traditional methods. Its range of delicious chutneys, relishes and marmalades are all made by hand in small batches to retain the fresh flavour in every spoonful.

The Honeywell’s brand celebrates the very best of Lancashire food and farming. With decades of experience and traditional values at the heart of everything they do, this family-run butcher is renowned for top quality produce delivered fresh from the farm.

Pioneers in free-range produce, Kenyons have been supplying locally produced eggs from their Lancashire farm for more than 70 years. The family is committed to delivering the highest quality and freshest eggs in town. They taste cracking too!

A multi-award winning brewery born and bred in the North West, using old-fashioned brewing techniques to produce four popular beers – Lancaster Blonde, Amber, Black and Red. They also produce monthly specials and seasonal beers from their brewery on the outskirts of Lancaster.

Mr Fitzpatrick’s have been making their award-winning natural botanical drinks for more than 120 years. Their delicious range of nostalgic and new flavoured cordials are all made in Lancashire using the finest botanical extracts and aromatic spices.

Paula Jenkins’ award-winning garlic butters are bursting with fresh herbs and rich flavours. Perfect for making the ultimate garlic bread, they can also be used to add personality to any dish. As Paula says, everything tastes better with garlic butter!

Established in 1947, the Honeycomb Company specialises in producing unpasteurised and natural honeys made using traditional methods. Each delicious variety of honey has its own distinctive flavour and scent.

This family-owned business is renowned for the quality of its traditionally smoked foods. Freshness is key to the taste of their smoked fish – they pride themselves on getting the catch to the smokehouse as quickly as possible to achieve the richest flavours.

Say cheers to a range of small batch artisan spirits made in Garstang. The family-run distillery uses sustainably sourced botanicals to create original hand-crafted gins, vodkas and rums that burst with fresh flavours and aromas.

Lancashire-based Sarah and Mark Sudell launched Stable Yard Gin in a quest to create the perfect G&T. A true craft distillery, they use a traditional copper still called Rosie which produces only 70 bottles per batch to ensure the finest quality gin.

We are delighted to stock fresh, seasonal and organic fruit and vegetables supplied by The Plot. This local initiative aims to shorten the supply chain from grower to consumer. All the produce is grown outside Old Holly Farm near Garstang.

Established in Wigan by William Santus in 1898, this Lancashire sweet brand has since achieved legendary status. Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls are still manufactured using the same traditional methods as when Mrs Santus made the sweets in her kitchen all those years ago.

Real dairy ice cream made using milk from the family dairy farm in Cockerham near Lancaster. Wallings are famous for their amazing range of delicious flavours, and they are always on the lookout for inventive new taste combinations!

Val and her family at Williams Bakery in Preston have been baking traditional biscuits and cakes for more than 40 years. Her Eccles cakes are a firm favourite at Barton Grange.

These award-winning 100% cold pressed rapeseed oils are hand made on the Wignall’s family farm in Lancashire. A beautiful golden colour, the oils have a delicate nuttiness and smooth feel, making them perfect for dips and dressings, as well as cooking.
