Whether you want to write books for your own interest, for children or grandchildren, or with a view to getting published for a wider audience, this short course of workshops will inspire you and set you on the right track.
The course dates are: Sunday 13th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 27th January 2019.
The course is led by Rhona Whiteford, a published children’s author and illustrator of over 150 books. The course is held in three sessions, and will include the following subjects:
* Discover your inner fiction writer
* Learn how to craft your story: create great characters, exciting settings, thrilling events
* Find out how to get published: self-publishing or conventional
* Writing for all children’s age groups and genres, from first books to young adults
