There are so many beautiful lampshades and now you can learn how to make your very own!
This welcoming workshop is suitable for complete beginners: no sewing is required. You’ll be making a 30cm drum lampshade which can either be used as a light pendant or for a table lamp. On the day you will need to bring:
- Half a metre of fabric (110cm in width); cotton and linens work best, with no embellishments or heavy textures. Also, fabrics with no regular patterns or straight lines are more forgiving, so I would recommend these for your starter lampshade
- Fabric scissors
Willow & Hare Country Crafts will provide everything else you need to create your lampshade. To find out more information about Willow & Hare, please click here (www.followthehare.co.uk).
