More award success for Barton Grange Brock

Barton Grange Garden Centre at Brock won further accolades for its Christmas displays at an awards ceremony on Sunday 10th January.

The Greatest Christmas Awards are organised by the garden retail industry to recognise the achievements of the dedicated Christmas teams in garden centres all over the UK.

Barton Grange won the award for the Greatest Christmas Entrance, for its huge entrance display of fresh red Poinsettias which had been grown at its own nursery across the road from the Garden Centre.

It also won the ‘Greatest Christmas Walk’ Award which recognised that it had the best overall Christmas displays in the industry. Barton Grange had already won the award for the best Christmas displays in the UK from the Garden Centre Association.

The real Christmas tree sales team were also nominated for an award so were among the top 5 sales teams in the country.

Garden Centres were nominated for these awards by suppliers in the industry and were then judged by a panel of seven garden retail and Christmas retail experts.

“We are particularly pleased about the Greatest Christmas Entrance Award because it focused on our own Poinsettias and promoted the fact that they are grown locally by our own nursery,” said Guy Topping, Managing Director.

Guy attended the ceremony with Sue Travis, manager of the Christmas team, team member Pam Cowie and Display Manager, David Fawcett-Ropner.
