OFFICIALLY THE BEST CHRISTMAS DISPLAYS IN THE REGION

For the second year running, Barton Grange Garden Centre at Brock has won the award for the Best Christmas Displays in the North West.

Facing tough competition from garden centres in greater Manchester and Cheshire as well as Lancashire, Barton Grange has again been judged the best by the Garden Centre Association. It will now be judged again for the national competition which it has won for the past two years.

‘This is a fantastic achievement for the whole Christmas team,” says Guy Topping, MD of Barton Grange Garden Centres. “We had a lot to live up to after winning the national competition last year and once again they’ve shown they can’t be beaten on creativity and flair.”

The Garden Centre’s theme for Christmas is ‘A World of Christmas’ and the displays are designed to represent different continents, countries and cities of the world including Africa, Thailand, India, Venice and the UK.

One of the most popular attractions is a min-world created by the team to show off their village collection complete with mountains, rivers and waterfalls, a zoo and a working railway. Another highlight is the starry sky they have created in their artificial tree area.
