At Barton Grange we share your enthusiasm for the garden. We LOVE plants and we know a bit about gardening too!

We have thousands of trees, shrubs, climbers and perennials, displayed with style and imagination. What's more, our outdoor plant area has a roof which closes when it rains so you can shop for plants whatever the weather. Our greenhouse is always full of seasonal favourites and plants for instant impact.

In our gardening department, you'll find everything you need to keep your garden healthy and tidy, to grow plants from seed and to attract birds and wildlife to your garden.

For our 50^th anniversary, Eddie Topping, who started it all, has chosen his 50 Favourite Plants. Eddie’s favourites all have something special to offer to gardeners – be it foliage, flowers, scent, structure, flavour or just simple visual appeal. You’ll find them outside in specially marked displays or you can click here to see the list. They’re numbered 1 to 50, alphabetically, not in order of preference!
